BF% from a scale is going to be inaccurate, or at least, not that accurate. The whole BMI thing may work for a lot of people, but it also doesn’t work for a lot of people. For example, if you regularly lift weights and do a lot of squats you may have a BMI of borderline obese with a body fat% <15% as in my case. The most accurate way to measure body fat is with a tank, the next best is someone who knows what they are doing using calipers.
I can see the appeal of this for some people, but it seems pretty useless to me.
