This is a necessary step to take in the push to protect IP and stop piracy online. I commend the providers for taking the steps needed to reduce piracy. If we do not protect the monetary value of content, we will eventually lose all the content that we love. It is not fair that some people pay for it and others do not. We all need to respect the fact that it takes money to produce TV shows and albums and we should pay for it if we want to keep it.
