That’s absolutely it. I had a friend ask me what to get because he knew I kept up on the tech side of things. So after recommending countless excellent brand and models to him he just went with the Beats… I asked him why he even bothered to ask me, if he really wanted the best sound quality for the dollar after all and he basically told me no. He told me he really just wanted them for the looks. I explained how I thought it was cooler to have the nicer headphones that actually sound better than everyone else’s.

I’m all for style, absolutely I am. But only to a point. It still gets me why he even asked if he already had his mind made up.
