It’s not a mystery. I’ve nailed it down to 2 things:
1. Fugly live tiles screen. Apps look fine and the lock screen too, but MS need to put a wallpaper on that live tiles screen ASAP. And the rectangle OK buttons look like they were designed from the late 80ies. Pretty sells.
2.Availability. There are no phones out there on display to choose. Most people only buy what’s at their regular stores.
