How long will it take you all to realise NOTHING is is free in this world!
You dont pay cash money for your Social Networks so the Companies like Facebook/Instagram Monetise you personal Data any which way you cut it they are SELLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A PRIVATE COMPANIES. Read what he says not what he wants you to hear.
""it’s not our intention to sell your photos" and not its not read the clause…

“you agree that a business or other entity may pay us to display your userame, likeness, photos (along with any associated metadata), and/or actions you take, in connection with paid or sponsored content or
promotions, without any compensation to you.”

It was their intention to sell everything they could get away with and while he tries to clam you all with meaningless platitudes like ……

“listening,” and that “it’s not our intention to sell your photos” — to fix the problem, it will update its terms of service. Systrom writes that it will “modify specific parts of the terms to make it more clear what will happen with your photos,” and that it has no plans to sell them

I bet they dont remove the bit where they get Money from private companies for YOUR data. Notice they are wanting to get money for
“your userame, likeness, photos (along with any associated metadata), and/or actions you take, in connection with paid or sponsored content promotions,”

Here they are ONLY talking about photographs
