Wow, this article has an even more toadying tone than the other one. This uncritical presentation of Instagram PR line in the most flattering, glowing terms possible, makes me a little queasy, it’s almost as if your salary depends on it? Clearly it’s the problem with free content in a magazine like this – in the same way as with Instagram as users we are going to be the product rather than the client.
Sorry, I’d never heard of Verge until today, but where does it get its income stream from – is there some kind of commercial relationship with the Facebook/Instagram group. or is it just the star struck love of one ‘free lunch’ organisation for another?
