the lense selection is an overblown issue. for most users, the lense selection is good enough with even more coming by mid 2013, with several zeiss as well. i’m particularly waiting for the 35 f1.8 and the zeiss ultrawide.
even saying all that, the only glass worth buying in the micro 4/3 range are the 20mm, 25mm leica and the 45mm zuiko; if we’re talking quality. that is the same focal lengths (roughly) covered by the E glass.
for my shooting style and use, i havn’t found the nex’s lacking in lense, nor have i found it that advantageous to have the quantity of mico 4/3 lense.
you’re golden buying into either system. i’m on both systems.
