On a tablet you don’t have that option. You are stuck on Android/W8/iOS/Whatever and have no option to switch. There are no compatibility layers to run an iOS app on Android or vice versa.

To a degree yea, but you can also run Citrix from a tablet so it gets kinda sketchy.
