this is actually becoming a pet peeve of mine. Apple has succesful taken a marketing gimmick and brainwashed all the tech bloggers.

Tech bloggers now put a higher value on PPI then the actual resolution . PPI has to be used in the correct context.

Bloggers like david Pierce just don’t have a clue, they think if it has a higher PPI then it’s a better screen.

No it’s just has a higher PPI, if it has a lower resolution then it has lower amount of pixels meaning less detail and less data rendering. Doesn’t matter if the PPI is the higher know to man, it can’t replace date and detail that’s not there.

According to people like David Pierce then a 720P 26 inch HDTV has a better picture and screen than a 42 inch 1080P because it has a higher PPI.

makes me crazy. Bloggers should take screen resolution course or something before they start writing.
