Have you used a Nook HD+? I have and found the experience very nice. It was certainly no laggier than my GNexus running Jellybean. The Fire HD 8.9 interface I’ve been told, is quite frustrating and “laggy” to use at times. The Nexus 7 and iPad Mini are both smaller tablets. The Mini has a much lower resolution screen. With a B&N tablet you can go into a store for support like you can with an iPad (not something you can do with a Nexus or Fire). The write-up and the video dialogue make the experience out to be terribly slow when it actually is quite nice. I’m beginning to think David has some sort of agenda against the Nook line or something. His Nook HD review was never updated after the software update as was promised.
