So you want them to review the tablet based on your assumption that it will get better sometime in the future? Or that you may be able to root the device and load a custom ROM? Should they start reviewing iPhones based on jailbreaking? I have seen devices improve over time, but it has never been drastic, for the most part what you get out of the box is what you end up with. Plus this is not really version 1 of their OS, it has been out for a few years now. Yes it is a new version, but this is hardly a revolutionary OS update.
In watching the video there are times where the device doesn’t even respond to touch input. You are going to have to do some low level optimizations to fix an issue like that (And given they are using Android 4.0 at the core, someone must have screwed up majorly when coding their custom launcher.)
