You’re entitled to your own opinion. It would probably be awkward for you, it wouldn’t be awkward for me. Me, a person that successfully used a Laptop, Google Voice and a 3G Modem from Virgin Mobile to replace a regular cell phone for about 6 months of his life. I did it before I could seriously consider using a smart phone as a type of limited but highly portable pc with a perpetual internet connection.

So nordborn, please use your common sense. Understand that not everyone has the same needs or wants as yourself. Also, make sure that you validate your opinion before expressing it. I don’t place my current phone to my head to speak to anyone anymore. I use a Motorola S10-HD exclusively for all voice communication and music listening. I rarely speak to people anyway, I see my phone as a portable computer that can make calls and simple sms messages at will whenever I’d like it to without me having to bother with its’ configuration much.

I treat my phone as if it is a tiny, 4" tablet. Oh yes, I even own two Boxwave stylii, a thick one about the size of a crayon and a longer, much more slender stylus. They work great for gaming and SlideIT while I wear gloves. They even have their own place for being used outside of glove use. 7" of space would be highly welcomed.

The Nexus 7 with 3G would be the perfect replacement for my current phone based upon how I use it. A switch to using this Nexus would not be a bad move for people that use headsets exclusively and constantly carry a messenger bag or even a tablet in their hands constantly.
