I’m interested in this too. I’ll be hounding the web for people trying to turn their 3G Nexus 7 into a phone. Not using VoiP but using real calls over the cellular network. If I can find people with success then I believe that I’ve just found my next phone.
It’s so easy to replace the battery in this tablet, I wonder if we’ll get any extended batteries on the market soon. That’s going to be necessary if this is going to become a giant cell phone.
