The Paperwhite seems to be a pretty neat device, but I’m still not convinced yet. For me the newest Kindle looks like an upgrade and a downgrade at the same time.
If Amazon adds page-turn buttons, a phone jack and the option for the familiar silver-grey color (the black just looks cheap IMO) and 2 additional GBs of storage to the next iteration of the Kindle, I would click the buy button within milliseconds.
