Just because Chomsky says it, doesn’t make it anything other than regurgitated pseudo-rational justification of puritanical fear and repression.

For a hint at his bias, note how in discussion of ‘pornography’, he deals with the issue as if it is monolithic and all inherently degrading in its actions. No mention is made of gay porn, feminist porn, or other areas of sex-positive porn, but only ‘pornography’ as a whole.

While I’m sure he’s got some interesting things to say about other subjects, on this one, he’s saying nothing new, and nothing intelligent.
