I doubt that iWorks counts in any way toward that 10 ecosystem score for Apple.
Regardless, I personally believe that the WP8 ecosystem sucks. But then again, you may not. So some people agree with Josh/Verge, some don’t. That’s not really a surprise.
BTW, I don’t think that Office is a “killer” feature for a smartphone. It’s nice to have, but I can’t get any real work done on a 5" screen, nor would I want to.
