Which is stupid. Apple doesn’t bundle their iWork stuff with iOS do they? I believe they charge $10 per app, and that gets counted as part of their ecosystem. Office comes with Windows Phone, for free, and because it’s not in the Store, it’s not part of the ecosystem. Ridiculous. Does that mean that Xbox integration isn’t part of the ecosystem either, since you can manage messages and stuff right on the phone? The Verge sucks at reviewing Windows stuff, in particular Joshua Topolsky. The reviews for the Lumia 920 and HTC 8X actually aren’t bad, but every time Josh gets to review anything from Microsoft he slams it for no good reason.
