You have a mail client built in, you don’t need Outlook’s bloat. The Surface really isn’t a laptop replacement, it’s a secondary device. And as for Macros, who the hell is going to be managing a gigantic corporate spreadsheet on a Surface? Anyone who would try would be stupid. Office is there as something nice, not something essential to the device.
