I’ve generally heard from my friends with ereaders that the Kobo reader builds are crap. Generally Amazon and B&N customer service is excellent and replaces your ereaders without any fuss if there’s a problem but I have no idea what Kobo’s CS is like or if they’d replace your faulty ereader. I’d go with two biggest companies who have tried and tested customer service over the underdog with a bad rep.
