I’ve never seen this in any of my ebooks to be honest and I’ve read over a hundred so far this year on my Kindle Touch. But then again I get most of my ebooks from “other sources” (lol) so it could be a formatting problems with the published ebooks in the Amazon store, which leads me to believe it’s due to a human error (bad formatting) rather than an inherent software flaw.
