CAN YOU CHANGE TEXT ALIGNMENT ON THIS DEVICE?
The biggest problem with “justified” text when reading digitally is that you get unsightly gaps between words that stutters the flow of reading. With print, you don’t have this problem because you use hyphens when necessary to even out the gaps. Obviously you can’t do this digitally because the user has the option to change fonts and font sizes.=, which would make hyphens appear in odd places.
I just about almost always use left-aligned text when possible when reading digitally— that’s the only solution, I think. The reason why I don’t use the Kindle app on my Android device is because they don’t give you this option. Do they give you the option on actual Kindle devices?
