If color e-readers existed, then that would be weird. But this is the state of the art.
It’s not like an LCD would be an improvement over this. Reading on LCDs is the problem e-ink was invented to solve. I would never read novels on my tablet. It’s not nearly as pleasant. If this e-reader had an LCD screen, the score should be more like 2, or maybe 5 for people who read more comics than novels.
Still, color would be nice, now that the software shows the covers and has comics support. Maybe in another few years.
