What exactly are you expecting out of a review? It compares the product with its contemporaries and its ability to perform its designated task (letting you read books). The combination of great hardware, healthy ecosystem, better screen and new feature that lives up to the promise = an expected 9.
Bitching about whether it being B&W in a sea of tablets is like complaining about PMPs because they don’t make calls. It’s excellent at what it does, so much so that I’ve pre-ordered one to replace my ageing Kindle 3.
