From Amazon’s website: “Kindle Paperwhite’s screen has 25% higher contrast.” My question would be, is the contrast due to the light, or is the screen actually better compared to the previous gen? Does “Paperwhite” describe the light/screen experience or the e-ink screen alone? So far I haven’t found anyone mention this. Overall I’m liking the new Kindle, minus the lack of physical buttons for page turning (currently use the Kindle keyboard), and the screen contrast was something that I wanted a bit more info on.
