Post comment on The Verge to "LG Optimus 4X HD review"

I just got an Optimus 4XHD to review. It got less than 8 hours on the first charge. Less then 8 hours on the second charge and finally it only got 9 hours while I was asleep (and not in use). This phone has a horrible battery life, and barely functions as a mobile device. It has the same chipset as the HTC One X, which will last at least 20 hours with the same usage.

@David: did you experience the same? I think this rating is way too high, unless you actually like charging and/or carrying around extra batteries? Does the Verge peer review articles like these? A rating this high means this phone comes highly recommended, and I can’t see anything about this devices that merits such an honor. The UI is ugly, the screen is worse than on the One X and S3, the battery life is unusable, the design is uncomfortable (boxy, hard to hold) and last season (it’s basically a bigger S2 with ugly chrome sides and “prism” lines on the sides) and it’s missing a lot of preloaded apps/widgets that are common on other devices. Just because 4XHD is the first high-end Android device from LG that makes sense and doesn’t increase one’s suicidal tendencies, you shouldn’t go and give it a gold medal.
I’d love to see an iPhone user review this phone, to see how he would cope with going from a good battery to this.. crap.
