It might not be useful for those other platforms but those already using it (with contacts) this is a great upcoming feature built in. No need to worry about quota under a BIS /BES plan and I’m assuming isn’t just limited to WIFI since BBM runs on blackberry service. After all the iPhone only recently fixed its facetime product. Video chat is old hat but Whatsapp and other similar products may come close but dont offer integration as seamless as BBM!

I don’t know why blackberry is dissed so much by other users who have no interest in Blackberries. you know competition is good.
