Apple is damn smart, those guys in Cupertino would never turn their iPhone users into gold mine and let someone else to dig it.
Kudos, yours is the most plausible speculation so far. The real question is, does Apple have an alternative to NFC Payments or is it too much to expect anything clever to come out from that company anymore?
