"Chinese iPad game lets players experience the 'thrill' of killing 'Japanese devils' (update: pulled)"

It occurs to me that there are several real points of contention here. China still has active territorial disputes with Japan, Russia, and India. The Sino-Indian war(s?) were fought not long ago due to the border conflicts those two countries have, and Putin went to and pissed off the Chinese. Add in Taiwan and our defense pact, and you’ve got a country with a billion people plus, the second largest economy in the world, one of the largest military ground forces, working on force projection and developing a blue water navy….
The Chinese are pretty cheesed. Plus, if you’ve studied the history of Chinese/Japanese relations, they really, really don’t like each other. The Japanese were utterly merciless to both the Chinese and the Koreans – study up on comfort women or the rape of Nanking, for starters. The former Emperor of China also was re-instated in a puppet state – Manchukuko or something, and the current communist government probably still holds that against Japan.
