Honestly, I don’t trust the current generation of politicians to let their vote-driven opinions influence hugely impactful laws such as patent and copyright. They’d change the law to satisfy a bloc of voters and throw the economy into a further tailspin. They’ve already demonstrated they understand exactly squat relating to the economy.
