T.C., nice article in every way — format, writing, subject. But the Declaration seems weak. Has anyone ever sat in a meeting to write a mission statement? Too many voices and you end up with something like this.
Completely vague, and so high level as to not provide any mission at all until articulated at a lower level. And surely they tried to do that and still want to, but have so many voices it was too hard.
I hope they get over that hump — this is really important. But they shouldn’t exactly be proud of this in the meantime. It’s a camel (horse built by committee).
