They were examined – but I don’t recall any actions being taken, because they weren’t abusing their monopoly. For example you could easily put music from non-Apple sources on an iPod, and as iTunes started to become dominant itself, DRM was removed so you could easily put iTunes sourced music on a generic MP3 player.
