"UK's Office of Fair Trading to investigate Facebook's Instagram buyout"

Nearly all of Instagram’s 30mil users would be on Facebook
What Facebook would be seeing was they were becoming a hosting platform for more & more Instagram photos, they wouldn’t have always known who originally took them, what with, where & who was in them etc
Not they have access to all that data.
With something the size of Facebook, relegotry bodies do need to make sure competition isn’t harmed by all buy-outs
One could argue with Facebook’s acquisition of Lightbox staff and Instagram buyout that competition has been massively harmed, massively!
