In the end, a human is being censored, if you argue that Google’s algorithm must be manually censored, even if the result wasn’t originally a human’s statement or opinion.
My guess is that what Wu is saying is that is where the argument would need to be. That, in other words, if you are giving the “speech” of computers complete unaccountably, you are in effect extending it to its human masters in unintended ways.
