I just don’t see the point of small tablets
It has roughly the page size of a paperback book. You can hold it with one hand. Until the iPad Retina Display, the dot pitch on 7 inch tablets was higher. They cost half as much as 10" tablets.
So I can use it as reader, hold it with one hand, save $200 and do most things a larger tablet can do albeit with some limitations due to screen size. I see the market for both. 10" tablets are primarily tablets, with reading as secondary functionality. 7" tablets are primarily readers, with tablet as the secondary functionality.
