People said the same thing about 6 liter, 8 cylinder engines in the auto industry decades back. Turns out that huge engines suck up a lot of gas and are largely pointless for most drivers. Still, it’s fun to brag about I guess.
Same with this “a billion x a billion resolution” trend. It too sucks up a lot of resources, and is largely pointless, but also fun to brag about.
