I’m pretty sure the iPad app is intended to be a companion to the desktop app. However, you bring up a good point: considering the overlapping features of plan/outliner and graffle/sketch, to purchase all their desktop apps and companion iPad apps would be ridiculous. They’ve created their own overpriced redundant ecosystem. It’s sort of like an indie version of Photoshop/Bridge/Lightroom.
