No offense, but that’s false logic. You’re assuming that because the MAJORITY of users are conditioned to never spend more than a buck, that ALL users are conditioned that way. That’s totally untrue.
Look at that link I gave. Maybe 99.99% of iPad users have no use for an app that helps them pass the California Bar exam. But for that 0.01% of user who DO care, they care a whole lot, and that $999 price might be an attractive alternative to $5000+ worth of books that (because they are books) never update.
