Josh Marinacci, formerly of webOS developer relations. (http://joshondesign.com/2012/06/06/webos-on-the-verge) has added his insights about this article and his inside views on what happened. One big nugget he left us was that the touchpad hardware was already designed before Palm was acquired and was designed by hp to run Android.
