Sprint is understandable, as Google as integrated support for outbound Sprint MMS messages to any Google Voice number. The Cingular one is puzzling. Perhaps that person ported to Sprint and fonefinder.net is out of date?
If you get the chance to do a few tests from (confirmed) non-Sprint numbers please let us know what you find…
