In a response to the back on topic, it’s interesting and worth noting, as others have, that they could conceivably continue selling the app, so long as they don’t infringe upon the original artwork, as the app is open source.
Is it wrong, and still probably against Apple’s guidelines? Yes. But it may be a somewhat sticky situation. lol
