Your customers are the consumers that pay you to connect their homes or business to the internet so that they can access information and services that exist on the internet. Your sole responsibility is to create and manage that pipeline so that these internet services are reliably accessible for your customers.
The value that your customers receive is completely dependent upon the existence of these internet services such as Netflix and VOIP. Without these internet services, there would be absolutely no reason for consumers to pay for high speed internet. If not for data intensive internet services, we would all be happy with dial-up and you would still be competing with NetZero.
There is as much logic in your attempts to charge these high bandwidth services as there would be in those high bandwidth services charging you. Perhaps Netflix should consider charging you for the privilege of making it available to your customers. Of course they will not do this, because their services is paid for by the end consumer, the same as your service.
