My guess is that Apple will build Sprint an LTE iPhone on the 1900Mhz spectrum, which no other carrier in the world will be using. That makes them different from other regional carriers who don’t have an LTE network.
Comparing CDMA to LTE, no one would want a CDMA iPhone even if it had unlimited data.
