Today, a statement from Snowden's lawyer has confirmed that the new job is at VK, a Russian social network similar to Facebook, which had made overtures towards Snowden when he first came to Russia. It's unclear what Snowden's exact duties will be at the site, but earlier reports had described it as a "technical support" role.
