Teletext can be useful for plenty of things — most of which revolve around sending text-based information to compatible television sets — but in countries like Germany, Sweden, and Spain, the communications system was also used to deliver sex hotline ads. The text-mode Tumblr page has gathered a number of these ads and their wonderful attempts to get men and women calling for loving companions, some of which are much better than others.
