While most of Pixar's full-length films have been utterly delightful, we have a soft spot in our hearts for the shorts that got the studio started and continue to air in front of its longer movies. The Wall Street Journal has just posted a quick preview of the company's latest short, entitled The Blue Umbrella which is classic Pixar — typically inanimate objects having very human emotions. It sounds like this film will air in June in front of the upcoming Monster University, and while it feels a little silly to be excited for a five minute cartoon, there's no shame in wondering exactly where this story is headed.
