Ambitious projects are commonplace in Minecraft. So, perhaps it shouldn't be surprising to find that player lentebriesje is in the process of building a 1:1500 scale, detailed Earth. The maps, which will be downloadable (North America, South America, and Europe already are) have been built using WorldPainter, an interactive and graphical tool for generating maps in Minecraft. The maps will be made available on lentebriesje's blog as they are finished.
