Ten years ago — that's 2003, for those of you just getting over your hangover — Wired offered up six sci-fi gadgets that it predicted we'd have in our hands by 2013. Now that we've finally made it, the publication has gone back through its guesses to see how it did. Some of the predictions aren't half bad — there's a wrist-mounted Apple "iPhone" PDA (above), a flexible display television, and augmented reality goggles — but others like the so-called "Polar-Eyez" contact lenses (designed to replace your sunglasses) belong to a future we're thankfully not a part of.
