The creators of acclaimed iOS (and later PC) title Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP are opening up the game's world to fanworks. From May 11th to 13th, they're hosting an online "Sworcery A / V Jam," during which artists, musicians, game creators, and anyone else are encouraged to build and submit things "in the key of #sworcery" to an official Tumblr. The team will be releasing game assets like art and music in the days leading up to the event, encouraging people to remix and reuse them.
Of course, nobody is required to wait until the jam actually starts, and the Tumblr already has some great pieces up. Among them is the painting above — created by Qiqo of Sworcery publisher Capybara Games — as well as this fantastic Lego sculpture. You can find all the relevant links on the excellent jam poster, and we're guessing that more details will be forthcoming soon.
