Apple
GameStop CEO J. Paul Raines told us that his company could become a high-tech pawn shop one day, refurbishing all kinds of used gadgets, instead of just stocking games and the occasional phone or tablet. Today, a leaked screenshot at Kotaku suggests that the company may be ready for the next stage of its plan: selling used Apple laptops. According to the screenshot, which could admittedly be filled with placeholders rather than actual prices, MacBooks could start as low as $459.99. There's a listing for a refurbished 11-inch MacBook Air with a 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor at $749.99, a bit more than the $699.99 that Apple usually charges, while an 17-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.4GHz Core i7 processor might be found for $2,099.99, which seems like it could be a bit less. If you spot a GameStop selling laptops in your area, please let us know in the comments!
