To commemorate the new release of Paul Sheerbart's Lesabéndio: An Asteroid Novel, 50 Watts has collected some of Alfred Kubin's original illustrations from the 1913 edition. The artwork, like the book itself, is profoundly surreal and features worm-like aliens smoking bubble-weed and contemplating the nature of the universe. The Wakefield Press translation was published just last month, and you can see more of the stunning illustrations at the source link below.
